Rimsha Amin
Physiotherapist
I believe that physiotherapy isn’t just about rehabbing an injury or helping to eliminate pain – it’s about helping people feel at home in their bodies again and getting them back to the parts of life they’ve been missing. I love the challenge of turning what might feel like a frustrating or overwhelming process into something positive, encouraging, and sometimes even enjoyable. The most rewarding moments are when patients tell me they were finally able to do something they hadn’t done in months, whether that’s playing a sport, picking up their kids, or simply moving without pain. Those small victories are what drive me, and they’re what make this work so meaningful.
When you work with me, my priority is making sure you feel truly heard, cared for, and safe throughout the process. My treatment approach combines hands-on care through manual therapy with personalized exercises and nervous system-based techniques like NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) and microcurrent point stimulation using Dolphin NeuroStim. A big part of my approach is also education – I believe that when patients understand their condition and their progress, they feel more confident and in control of their recovery. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that’s tailored to your specific goals and needs, so you always feel the rehab journey is yours.
Outside of the clinic, I’m a big believer in staying active myself – I religiously aim to hit 10 000 steps a day and won’t rest until I’ve hit that goal. I love spending time with friends, reading, and rewatching my favorite movies and TV shows (sometimes more times than I’d like to admit). I’m also a huge basketball fan so if the raptors are playing, don’t bother calling – I’m busy.
